In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a transfer student to apply for this undergraduate award.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  5. Must plan to transfer to Concordia College of New York.

Additional Information: Concordia College stimulates students academically, culturally and socially while challenging its members to make a difference at Concordia and beyond. Students who have achieved a high level of success during their high school years are encouraged to apply. Transfer scholarships are generally selective and students must demonstrate their dedication to their studies as well as involvement in various activities on-campus.

Award Amount: $6,000 to $14,000 annually, renewable for up to three additional years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $30,000.

Applications are available online from the Concordia College of New York website. The student must be accepted for admission prior to applying for the Honors Program. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit a 250-word statement explaining why he/she is interested in becoming a part of the Fellows Program and what makes him/her a suitable candidate; two letters of recommendation (in addition to those used for admission); a sample of work representing his/her academic and creative abilities; official transcripts; and test scores. Copies of a student’s official documents will be provided by the Office of Admission. Applications and supporting materials must be submitted by the deadline date for priority scholarship consideration.
