Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  5. Must have an ACT/SAT score of 20/950 or higher.
  6. Must enroll full time.
  7. Must plan to attend McMurry University in Texas.
  8. Must plan to attend a college or university in Texas.
  9. Must attend a college or university in Texas.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: U.S. graduating high school seniors who have an ACT/SAT score of 20/950 or higher and a grade point average of 3.5 or higher are eligible for this award. Students must plan to attend McMurry University in Texas.

Application requirements for the McMurry University Presidential Scholarship are:

Additional Information: McMurry-based scholarship/awards will not exceed the cost of tuition.

Award Amount: $12,000 annually, renewable for three years as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 2.75 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $48,000.

There is not a separate application for this award. The student will be automatically considered upon admission to McMurry University. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit transcripts, ACT/SAT scores and a $25 application fee. The preferred deadline for financial aid for McMurry students is March 15th.
