Number of Awards & Eligibility: Varies, based on funding available. Approximately 300 awards were disbursed in the previous academic year.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must have received a Nebraska ACE scholarship. Details about the Nebraska ACE scholarship is available from the Nebraska Coordinating Commission for Postsecondary Education (NCCPE) website.
  2. Must have received a grade point average of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all completed ACE-funded courses taken while in high school.
  3. Must plan to enroll full-time.
  4. Must be enrolled at an accredited institution in the United States.
  5. Must graduate from a high school in Nebraska.
  6. This award is for U.S. students.
  7. Must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application.

Description: This award is available to Nebraska resident undergraduate students who received an Access College Early (ACE) Scholarship in high school. ACE recipients must attend a high school in Nebraska, and demonstrate financial need.

Application requirements for the Nebraska ACE Plus Scholarship Program are:

Additional Information: The ACE Plus Scholarship is available to full-time college students who received an Access College Early (ACE) Scholarship in high school. The scholarship may be used at any accredited institution in the United States. It will be paid directly to the attending institution and applied to the student’s total educational expenses. Award Amount: The ACE Plus Scholarship provides a $500 scholarship for the first year a student attends college and a $1,000 scholarship for the second year. To be eligible for the second-year award, a student must have received a grade point average of 2.0 or better during the first year of college.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,500.
