Number of Awards & Eligibility: Two awards offered annually. One scholarship will be provided to a U.S. student studying abroad, and the other will be provided to an international student who is studying at Southeastern Missouri State University.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international students.
  2. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  3. Must be a full-time student.
  4. Must be attending Southeast Missouri State University.
  5. Must have completed 30 or more hours of college credit.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: International undergraduate students who have completed 30 or more hours of college credit are eligible for this award. Students must be attending Southeast Missori State University and have a grade point average of 3.25 or higher.

Additional Information: The William and Bernice Heyde Scholarship is an endowed/sponsored scholarship provided annually by Southeastern Missouri State University. One award will be provided to a domestic student studying abroad and one award will be provided to an international student enrolled at SMSU. Award selection is based on a combination of factors including grade point average and overall academic records.

Award Amount: Approximately $500 annually, non-renewable. The amount of the award may vary depending on the amount of funding available.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.
