Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered annually varies on the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a high school senior at time of application.
  3. Must graduate from a Baltimore city public high school.
  4. Must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  5. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  6. Must be accepted to and plan to attend St. Mary's College of Maryland.
  7. Must be a resident of Maryland.
  8. Must rank in the top five in his/her graduating class.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is for U.S. high school seniors, who have been accepted to St. Mary's College of MD and have also applied for the CollegeBound Foundation Last Dollar Grant and/or competitive awards.

Application requirements for the St. Mary’s College of Maryland/CollegeBound Matching Scholarships are:

  • Application form
  • Recommendation letter (2)
  • Essay
  • Official Transcript
  • Acceptance letter
  • Comm. service verification
Additional Information: St. Mary's College of Maryland is proud to support the CollegeBound Foundation, and will match any awards received through the CollegeBound Foundation, up to $3,000 per student per year. *Please note: Students must also apply for the CollegeBound Foundation Last Dollar Grant and/or competitive awards in order to be eligible.

Award Amount: Up to $3,000 annually, renewable for an additional three years.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,000.
