Additional Information: The The Mark McCollum "Ride On" Scholarship is provided annually in memory of Mark McCollum, a graduate of the Civil Engineering program at Sacramento State University in 1984. In addition to the stated application requirements, students must also submit an essay and two letters of recommendation. Award selection will be based on a combination of academic merit and other factors, as determined by the individuals or organizations who are sponsoring the award. The Sacramento Region Community Foundation manages and administers dozens of scholarship programs that are available to local area students. Funds are financially supported by individuals, families, businesses, and other charitable organizations within Sacramento.
