Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually based on the number of qualified applicants.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be a full-time student.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  4. Must be of Korean descent.
  5. Must be a resident of one of the following eastern states selected by the KASF: Delaware, District of Columbia, Kentucky, Indiana, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia.
  6. Must attend a college and/or university in one of the following eastern states selected by the KASF: Delaware, District of Columbia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia.
  7. Must be a current high school senior or older at time of application.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for Korean-American students living in and attending school in Delaware, District of Columbia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, or West Virginia. Applicants must demonstrate financial need, have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and plan to enroll full time.

Application requirements for the KASF Eastern Region Scholarship are:

  • Official Transcript
Additional Information: In addition to all other eligibility requirements, the student must be able to demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Scholarship recipients will be notified in August.

Award Amount: $500-$5,000  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $5,000.
