Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards varies annually. In 2019, seven awards will be provided.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for students in the U.S.
  2. Must be a resident of Colorado.
  3. Must plan to attend an accredited college or university in Colorado.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher.
  5. Must be a graduating high school senior at the time of application.
  6. Must be a minority or first generation student.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This award is available for graduating high school seniors from the state of Colorado who plan to enroll in an accredited college or university in Colorado. Applicants must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher, and must be a member of a minority group or a first-generation college student.

Additional Information: Each year CESDA awards several students a scholarship to help pay for college expenses. In addition, CESDA members are active with other organizations whose goal it is to see students succeed, including the Colorado Council on College and High School Relations and the Colorado Association of Financial Aid Administrators. CESDA believes that increasing educational opportunities for all segments of society is vital to Colorado's future, and as such, CESDA works to make sure a diversity of ideas is prevalent in the business world.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications and information are available at the Colorado Educational Services & Development Association (CESDA) website at the address provided. In addition to the completed application, students must submit a copy of transcripts for grades at all educational institutions attended. Before any funds are awarded, selected applicants must also provide proof of enrollment. Completed application packets must be submitted online and must be received no later than the deadline date.
