In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a high school senior (graduating between January 1 and August 31 of the scholarship year) planning to enter a college or university.
  2. This award is for U.S. students.
  3. Must be a member of the Catholic order of Foresters.

Description: Catholic Order of Foresters is interested in developing future leaders for the Church and the community. This award is for high school seniors who will be entering college. Applicants must be insured members of the Catholic Order of Foresters. Each year 20 scholarships are awarded. Up to $5,000 awarded.

Application requirements for the Catholic Order of Foresters Fraternal Scholarship are:

  • Application form
  • SAT I/ACT scores
Additional Information: Catholic Order of Foresters is interested in developing future leaders for the Church and the community. We are especially concerned about young members and their educational needs. To show this interest and concern, COF has established the Fraternal Scholarship Program. Each year COF awards 20 four-year scholarships, $1,250 per year or a total of $5,000 for four years. Awards are made on a competitive basis. Applicants must be individually insured COF members in good standing for at least two years prior to applying.

Award Amount: Each scholarship is for $1,000  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

Applications are available on the provider's website under the member benefits heading. In addition to the completed application, students must submit their most recent SAT or ACT scores as well as an authorization form to be completed by a school official or counselor. All applications and supporting materials must be submitted online by the published deadline date.
