In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must plan to attend Bellarmine University in Kentucky.
  4. Must be an incoming college freshman.
  5. Must not be a resident of Kentucky.
  6. Must attend a university in Kentucky.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Additional Information: Award amounts are determined on an individual basis and celebrate the strength and achievements of each admitted student.

Award Amount: Typically, the maximum grant amount is $2,000 annually, renewable for up to three years as long as the student files the FAFSA and continues to demonstrate need. The minimum grant amount offered is $1,000 annually.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $6,000.

Applications for admission are available online from the Bellarmine University website. There is not a separate application for this award. Students are considered upon admission, based on information provided in the FAFSA. In addition to the completed and signed admissions application, each student must submit a $25 application fee (waived if the application is completed online); official high school transcript; FAFSA; and ACT/SAT scores. The student's high school counselor should complete the 'High School Counselor Evaluation Form' included within the application. Students must file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) by the deadline date for priority. The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices.
