Number of Awards & Eligibility: Five awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a graduating high school senior to apply for this freshman year award.
  3. Must plan to attend Clark University in Massachusetts.
  4. Must excel academically and demonstrate drive, creativity, and the passion to tackle complex challenges at home and abroad.

Additional Information: On Leap Day 2012, Clark University launched LEEP (Liberal Education and Effective Practice), a pioneering model of education that combines a traditional liberal arts experience with authentic engagement in the world and workplace. In celebration of the launch, five students will receive the chance to benefit from everything Clark University has to offer—at no cost for tuition, room, and board—through the LEEP Scholars program. LEEP Scholars will apply their knowledge and test their ideas in authentic world and workplace settings, building the skills sought by leading global businesses and nonprofits. The LEEP Scholarship is designed to recognize those students with the most exceptional academic records and who demonstrate the drive, creativity, and passion to tackle complex challenges. Finalists will be chosen based the strength of their applications for admission and on the quality of their LEEP essays. 10 to 15 finalists will be invited to participate in an on-campus interview in March and announce scholarship award recipients the following spring.

Award Amount: The scholarship award constitutes full tuition, room and board (valued at approximately $58,050) annually  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $290,250.
