Number of Awards & Eligibility: Six awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be currently enrolled as an undergrad or grad student in an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university for Winter or Spring term.
  4. Must have a 2.0 grade point average or higher.

Description: This award is for U.S. undergraduate or graduate students with a 2.0 grade point average or higher who submits a photo that captures the the theme of "2020, Bring It!"

Application requirements for the Direct Textbook “2020, Bring It!” Photo Essay Contest are:

Additional Information: Direct Textbook helps parents and students search online bookstores for bargain textbooks, saving them money and time. The company allows parents and students to get more for their used books with its college textbook buyback price search, and to save on textbook purchases. Once the contest is closed, all photos will be reviewed. The winners of each award will be notified by email on or before January 30, 2018. *Please note: Applicant must not be previously or currently incarcerated.

Award Amount: Award amounts are as follows: Two $500 scholarships: photos selected by Direct Textbook. Two $500 scholarships: photos with the most votes. Two $500 scholarships: photos selected at random from all qualifying entries. All awards are non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

The scholarship application and additional information is available online on the DirectTextbook.com website. This is an photo contest. The student must submit a photo that captures the the theme of "2020, Bring It!" The photo and student's information must be submitted electronically using the online submission form. All entries must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on the deadline date.
