Number of Awards & Eligibility: Fifteen awards offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must be a graduating high school senior who is planning to enroll in a university, community college, or vocational/trade school.
  4. Must be a resident of one of the following Central Indiana counties: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan or Shelby.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Additional Information: The purpose of this scholarship program is to honor individuals who showcase extraordinary qualities on a daily basis giving comfort, hope, inspiration, respect, service, and love to those around them. Students must demonstrate community service, leadership, and family commitment. ExtraordinAIRy Treasures does not consider the student's grade point average or career choice when selecting scholarship recipients.

Award Amount: $1,000 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $1,000.

An eligible applicant must be nominated for this award. Nomination forms are available on the ExtraordinAIRy Treasures website. A nomination may be submitted by a parent, teacher, counselor, neighbor, employer, etc. The nominator must compose a 400-word essay that conveys why the nominee is an 'ExtraordinAIRy Treasure' to the future by including an overview of his/her life skills (integrity, kindness, commitment to community, etc.) in action. The nominator should also indicate if the nominee has overcome any adversity in reaching his/her goals and include the nominee's work experience, educational and career plans, life lessons, or anything else that demonstrates his/her exceptional character. The names and contact information for two additional references who interact with the student in either an academic or extracurricular setting must also be provided in the nomination. Nominations must be submitted by the deadline date.
