In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. and Canadian students.
  2. Must be a U.S. or Canadian citizen.
  3. Must have a grade point average of 2.5 or higher.
  4. Must be between the ages of 17 and 24.

Additional Information: The scholarship winner will be announced approximately six weeks after the deadline. This scholarship is sponsored by Odenza Vacations and managed by StudentScholarships.org.

Award Amount: $500, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $500.

Additional details can be found on the scholarship management organization's website. Students must complete the online application and submit an essay (1,000 words or less) on the following topic: "Why do you want to go to college?" The essay must contain a thesis statement, and follow the basic rules of format and grammer. The online application and essay must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. EST on the deadline date.
