Number of Awards & Eligibility: One award offered annually.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. Must be a resident of Maryland.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. This award is for U.S. students.
  4. Must attend Baltimore City College high school.
  5. Must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher.
  6. Must be a participant in the visual or performing arts programs.

In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

Description: This scholarship is available for graduating seniors at Baltimore City College high school who have participating in visual and/or performing art. Appliants must have a grade point average of 2.8 or higher and must enroll in an accredited undergraduate program in the U.S.

Additional Information: This a competitive program; not all applicants will be selected as recipients. All decisions of Central Scholarship Bureau and the Grant Committees are final.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.

The application deadline date has not yet been finalized for this year, but is expected to remain the same as last year. The deadline date shown here is tentative based on last year's date. Please check back in November for a refreshed application deadline date. Applications are available on the Central Scholarship Bureau (CSB) website. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit the following materials: a copy of his/her current Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Student Aid Report (SAR) (or the applicant's most recent tax return if his/her FAFSA or SAR is not available); a completed 'Budget Form,' including the student's tuition costs and all known income sources; and an essay addressing the topic listed on the application. The SAR is sent to students once the FAFSA has been processed. Students must file the FAFSA by the deadline date. The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. In addition to completing the scholarship application, including all the needed information for the loan application, the applicant must call the CSB office to schedule an interview. Completed online applications must be submitted by the deadline date.
