  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.
  3. Must be a resident of Washington state.
  4. Must be an undergraduate student at the time of application.
  5. This award is for U.S. students.

Additional Information: Jacob Borg, the owner of Pointe Pest Control, has been in the pest control industry since 1996. In order to pay for his own college education, Jacob worked for 4 different pest control companies in 9 different states. While working, he learned what worked, what didn’t, and how to properly treat his customers to ensure that they are pleased with every aspect of their service. As such, Pointe Pest Control also recognizes the importance of education, as well as the challenges students face in financing school costs.

Award Amount: $750 annually, non-renewable.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $750.

Applications and information about this award are available online at the Pointe Pest Control website using the links provided. To apply for this award, students must complete the online application form, including the following items: the personal information section; a list of extra-curricular activities; employment history; a copy of his/her transcripts including a school letterhead or counselor signature; financial information including an uploaded copy of his/her Student Aid Report; optional letters of reference; and a recent resume. The Student Aid Report (SAR) is obtained by filing the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov, at high school guidance offices, and at college financial aid offices. All applications and supporting attachments must be submitted online prior to the deadline date.
