Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. Last year, four scholarships were awarded.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen.
  3. Must plan to transfer to Bellarmine University in Kentucky.
  4. Must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
  5. Must be a current undergraduate student attending an accredited institution of higher education and be planning to transfer.
  6. Must plan to attend a college or university in Kentucky.

Description: U.S. students planning to transfer to Bellarmine University in Kentucky are eligible for this award. Students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and must be a member of Phi Theta Kappa.

Application requirements for the Bellarmine University Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship are:

  • $25 app. fee (waived if online)
Additional Information: Award amounts are determined on an individual basis and celebrate the strength and achievements of each admitted student.

Award Amount: Up to $27,000 per year  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $29,500.

Applications for admission are available online from the Bellarmine University website. There is not a separate application for this award. Students are considered upon admission. In addition to the completed and signed admissions application, each student must submit a $25 application fee (waived if the application is completed online); official transcripts; and ACT/SAT scores (if he/she has completed under 24 credit hours and been out of high school for under five years). The priority deadline to file an application is June 1 or October 1. No late submissions will be considered.
