Number of Awards & Eligibility: Please note: The number of recipients for this program varies according to the number of students meeting the eligibility requirements in any given year. Each student meeting the requirements will receive an award.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for U.S. students.
  2. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  3. Must be a current undergraduate student who has completed 24 or more credit hours at an accredited institution.
  4. Must be a female.
  5. Must have a cumulative college grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  6. Must transfer to Cedar Crest College in Pennsylvania.
  7. Must attend college in Pennsylvania.

Application requirements for the Cedar Crest College Transfer Student Scholarship are:

Additional Information: The Presidential, Trustee, and Founders Scholarships are automatically renewed each year provided the student maintains a 3.0 cumulative GPA and retains a full-time student status. The Dean's Scholarship and Achievement Award are automatically renewed each year provided the student maintains a 2.8 cumulative GPA and retains a full-time student status.

Award Amount: $10,000 to $16,000 annually, renewable for two additional year as long as the recipient maintains a grade point average of 2.8 or higher.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $30,000.

Applications for admission are available online from the Cedar Crest College website. There is not a separate application for this award. Each student is considered upon admission. In addition to the completed application, the student must submit official transcripts, a personal essay of 250 to 500 words on a topic of her choice, and up to two teacher evaluations. There is not a set deadline to apply for this award. Applications are accepted throughout the year. For priority consideration, the student should submit his/her application by Jan. 3 for the spring semester and June 15 for the fall semester.
