Number of Awards & Eligibility: The number of awards offered varies annually. Approximately 98 percent of students receive institutional financial aid.
In order to qualify, students must meet the following criteria:
  1. This award is for international and U.S. students.
  2. Must be an incoming transfer student. Union College defines a transfer student as any student who has 24 or more class credits.
  3. Must plan to attend Union College in Nebraska.
  4. Must enroll full time.
  5. Must attend a college or university in Nebraska.
  6. Must have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.

Award Amount: $2,500 annually, renewable for up to five additional semesters if the student maintains a grade point average of 2.0 or higher and full-time enrollment.  The total dollars awarded for this scholarship is $2,500.

Scholarship information is available online on the Union College website. To be considered for this scholarship, students must apply for admission to Union College. No separate scholarship application is required. Admissions information is available on the Union College website by clicking on the 'Admissions Policy' link. Admissions applications are available in online and PDF formats. In addition to a completed application, each student must submit official transcripts for all high schools and colleges/universities attended. Students whose first language is not English must also submit TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) scores. International students may need to submit additional forms; such students should contact Union College's international admissions office for more information. The priority deadline to be accepted to Union College and complete financial aid documentation is April 15.
