What Music Scholarships are Available for College?

Yes, if you qualify, you could receive a scholarship award for playing a musical instrument. Instrumentalists may play the piano, guitar, flute, clarinet, violin, trumpet, drums etc.
One grantor is the National Federation of Music Clubs. NFMC offers scholarships for various types of musicians attending a U.S. college. The NFMC Elizabeth Paris French Horn Award is one. Students must be sponsored by an AMCA (Associated Male Choruses of America) member chorus. U.S. college sophomores, juniors, and seniors students majoring in music therapy are eligible for this award. Students must be attending a school accredited by the American Music Therapy Association.

The Dr. N.K. Bhide Band Scholarship is available for graduating seniors at Wenatchee High School who were active with the school marching band for at least one year.
